I am on vacation and I am in a situation that may require my 5th Wheel be moved from my current campground to another location while my TV is being repaired due to a failed fuel system. Does anyone know if ERS can be used for this purpose?

Where are you, and where does it need to go ? You would be surprised as to how fast folks here like to offer assistance!!!where - to - where ??fifth wheel info - ??Tires in good condition?

I am in Pigeon Forge TN. High pressure fuel pump on diesel disintegrated. Dealer says days to fix and current campground has no open sites after Friday. I am currently looking for someplace and way to move the 5th Wheel until the truck is repaired.

Campground must have had issues such as this before. Do they have suggestions?

Have you called ERS? They might not cover the costs of the tow, since it's not really an emergency on the roadside but maybe they will point you towards a towing company capable of moving a 5th wheel.Have you contacted the campground, they might have a wrecker service on speed dial as well?

I don't think ERS will do that - it's not really a "roadside emergency".However, you might check with the dealer and see if they would move it for you.

Most wrecker services will be able to tow your 5th wheel. It really is a simple procedure for an experienced tow operator.

I think it may as this is on the GSRA web site but the technicality may be it was not on the road at the time but it says all vehicles are covered.

There are a lot of forum members near Pigeon Forge that will probably gladly give you a hand. Maybe you could reword your post to say " Moving of Stranded 5th Wheel in Pigeon Forge area" You may be surprised at a local response. I live there and if I had a fifth wheel setup I would gladly help you out. If you need anything else in the area let me know.

Thanks for the replys and suggestions. The campground has not been to helpful but I did not expect too much as they are completely booked with no overflow area.

When the time comes i will look to gellow campers to see if one would move my 5th wheel to anoyher Campground i hope to find an open site tomorrow.
