To clarify - GS sent a tow truck out, they did not attempt to start the vehicle. My vehicle was towed to my dealer where I had to leave it overnight as we got there just as they were closing. The issue ended up being the battery. It had drained due to an interior light not switching off when the door closed. A jump start may have started the vehicle, but I have no way of knowing since I was told they could not perform both a jump start attempt and a tow, in the case it did not start. I was told it was either- or but not BOTH!!!! They were very clear on that fact....
The remark about my car being in my garage would make it not eligible for GS roadside assistance is just nuts - I guess I could have pushed it out into the street!!!
