My first claim
Bought ESP last March on my diesel pusher motorhome. I wanted the security that having the extra insurance gave me if something serious happened to the diesel engine. Well it did happen that an air line developed holes in it and caused the motor home to miss and overheat. The Cummins dealer advised that the exhaust manifold was warped because of the overheating but that the motor would be ok when it was replaced. The first thing I heard from the ESP was that they didn't cover hoses. Marcus, this was the primary air line from the compressor to the intake that developed problems. Second, they didn't want to pay the hours that Cummins had posted for the project. This was really a bad situation where I had a $2,200 bill, ($1,000 deductible). Of the remaining $1,200 that ESP should have paid, I received $223.20. What a disappointment and renewal is definitely out of the question. I can't pay for the bill and the insurance. Seems like you pay the policy rate to have a guy call up and try and nickel and dime the Cummins dealers. They have so much work that they don't need to cheat you. This insurance does not represent Good Sam very well.
