Im not a math major, but Im having trouble here. Tire cost $500 from the actual tire shop. GS up charged that to $750 (apparently). How is that double? Double is $1000 for the tire?
I think it is entirely plausible that the dealer quoted $750 to GS and then when you contacted them direct, did not up-charge you, but they probably had every intention of up-charging GS.
Thing is.. we will never know for sure. GS will say they didn't up-charge. Dealer would say the same.
