Im not a math major, but Im having trouble here. Tire cost $500 from the actual tire shop. GS up charged that to $750 (apparently). How is that double? Double is $1000 for the tire?
I paid 350 for the tire. The cost was 95 for emergency service and 350 for the tire. Misc valve stems, 20 labor, disposal fee... $500
Good Sam PAYS the 95. They then charge me 750. That is 250 MORE than I paid, paying the 95 MYSELF. They charged me 250 more AND supposedly paid the 95. I SHOULD have paid 100 LESS through GS as they supposedly pay the 95 service call. GS charged 250 more than I paid while I paid the 95 I supposedly save by paying good Sam for the plan. With THEM paying the service charge (why we have the insurance in the first place) I would have paid 400. Ignoring the misc charges, that is 350 dollars overcharge, the price of the actual tire. Okay, only 300 bucks overcharge, not quite double. Is that better??
Carry a good mounted spare. Have ers change it for free at roadside . Take video or pics of the process. Tire extended plan will **** you for a tire mounted at roadside. I once paid over 400 for a 180 $ tire. Take pics of blown tire onthe rim .contact your extended tirepolicy carrier. Shop tire prices for your high and low price first. Then argue with your carrier for tire replacement. Without tire extended warrenty policy you can buy acomplete set of tires for your rig and save money on tires and the cost of the redundant useless policy. Its a rackect of legal extortion. Yes it is !
The redacted word **** rhymes with ape and begins with r. Ridiculous political non correctiveness, lol
