New GS Membership

Well, I decided to dive in. We just purchased a 3 year GS Club membership. Hoping we get our card soon enough to be able to use it, on our next trip, 3 weeks from now...

  • You should receive a card. Sometimes it takes a while. I ended up with several lifetime cards because I wasn't receiving them. Then all of a sudden I got bombarded with them.
  • Do members receive an actual card, in the mail? I have our temporary printed out but wondered if we'd get a plastic one or not. I did receive my first Highways magazine, yesterday. That's the only mail I've received from GS.

    I've used the beneficial "free dump" at our local Camp World, once, which was really nice! While there, wandering the isles, I was pleasantly surprised to see some of the GS member discounts available. While regular prices were a bit high, the membership discounts, on some of the items, were pretty enticing!

    All you need is your membership # , that any member camp or service provider can verify in a moment through the GS system. Or we can call membership services for you at check in to get your #.

    Thank you for your post. I'm not all that impatient. I received a Confirmation Email, confirming my membership. That email stated that I'd receive an email, within 48 hours, which would contain my membership number and a temporary membership card. I'll at least wait that long...lol. If I haven't received it in a couple more days, I'll give them a quick call. The Confirmation email included a phone number, which is very handy!

  • Recieved email confirmation, responded yet can not sign in. Sent webmaster an email and no response there either. ????

    Unfortunately, I haven't received the email, with my GS Customer Number, so cannot create an account to log in to yet. Hoping to receive that email soon...The confirmation email that I did receive, explains that it could take up to 48 hours to receive the email which contains the GS Customer Number.

    It is my understanding that if you GS and explain your situation, they will give you a number to use until your card arrives.
