I am a Good Sam member for years (not for long). I called for a tow truck, my wife got stuck in dirt by our house. half an hour later good Sam called to tell me still looking for a tow truck. Another 30 min. Good Sam called and could not find a tow truck.said "have the police call for a truck and send us the bill". Highway Patrol had come by and then called a tow truck. The company 3 mile away came out. I paid the $240 for a winch. Now with Good Sam I am to wait 6 weeks for reimbursment. OMG

Sounds about normal for Good Sam/Camping World.

GOOD SAM ALREADY SENT AN EMAIL TO ME STATING SORRY BUT THAT IS PROCEDURE. SO MY NAME DOES NOT CHANGE UNTIL I TRANSFER NEXT MONTH TO NEW AAA MEMBER. GOOD SAM SHOULD HAVE A FAX NUMBER SO A CUSTOMER CAN SEND THE BILL AND FORM IN QUICKLY, AND AN EFFICIENT TURN AROUND. I WAS WRONG WHEN I SAID 2-4 WEEKS. TODAY I CALLED TOLD GIVE 1 WEEK TO ACKNOWLEDGE RECEIPT OF YOUR LETTER. TWO WEEKS TO REVIEW AND TWO TO FOUR WEEKS TO SEND PAYMENT. SO WHEN GOOD SAM COULD NOT GET A TOW TRUCK TO ME, I WAIT FOR REIMBURSMENT UP TO SEVEN, YES 7 WEEKS. CUSTOMER NO SERVICE
