Is the OP talking about "Travel Assist" or "Roadside Assistance?" They are different as night and day.
I think everyone agrees what "Roadside Assistance" means. And the OP was not stranded on the side of the road or broken down in a campground. Running out of fuel in a campground because you've run your generator too long? Well? Um???
This from the Good Sam web site about "Travel Assist". It has nothing to do with helping to do with refueling a vehicle. It has everything to do with getting someone to emergency medical treatment centers and getting their RV back home:
