No Road Side Service
We were camping in our class A at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and on Sunday morning when we woke at 6am, out generator stopped because our diesel level was too low. So, we were stuck.. We could start it but couldn't go anywhere as our slide-out was out and can't drive with it out and needed the generator the pull it back in. So, we called the Good Sam Travel Assist at 7 am and they wouldn't help us. Refused to. First off, they only carry 1-2 gallons of fuel. They couldn't do more. What class A will operate on 1-2 gallons of gas? That is absurd. Even worse they said that they wouldn't come because it was at the speedway.
The thing is there were AAA trucks driving all over the place, but I had cancelled my AAA membership because Good Sams serviced RV's and AAA didn't. I even have a picture of one that I'd wanted to upload but couldn't. I think I've had Good Sams for 2 years. I do not feel safe or secure with this service. My family and I were left. Thankfully we were able to walk the 8 blocks to a gas station buying multiple 1 gallon gas cans.
