Not worth it
We signed up for Good Sam Roadside Assistance in July. This was our first real RV trip in the Class C, an older unit and we were a little concerned about taking a 5,000 mile trip. Sure enough, getti...

When my son had a problem with his trailer and he had AAA they would not even offer to send help at his expense. It just was not covered, good-by.
We dropped AAA and signed on with Coach-Net. We had a problem on a Thursday morning, on highway 101 on the Olympic highway in Washington. They could not find a service person to assist. A tow truck would be available the NEXT day. We ended up getting assistance from the campground. We now have Good Sam. They responded "OK" to a flat tire on the car. Before I signed up I read the limits on the policy. I understand my rights and the limits. So Good Sam ended up sending out a tow-truck even though it was beyond the limits of their responsibility. They got you to safety. A shop, totally independent of GS's operation, cannot assist you until later in the week. But this is all Good Sam's fault.
I realize Good Sam is not perfect. As with any organization there are faults. They have a profit motive. But really. So many times I see people ranting and bashing the company because GS would not go out of its way to render assistance. I'm sorry, I did not mean to start a rant. But for all their faults it is nice to one number to call when the poop hits the fan and you need roadside help. Whether that number is Coachnet, AAA, GoodSam, or your insurance carriers group. I know when I called Good Sam for my small problem, a flat, the first question was; "are you safe".
Just my humble opinion.
Happy Trails, and hope the rest of the trip is wonderful.
