Glad you took the time and effort to find this forum, register and post your complaint. Apparently there is no chance that you got disconnected by either your cell phone or by accidentally being disconnected while being transferred to a different department like happens to me dozens of times a day whenever I call any call center. You are sure they deliberately hung up on you repeatedly, simply because you needed some basic assistance?
I sure wish they would put an end to these "Ask Marcus" forums. It is giving Good Sam and Camping World brands a bad reputation that really isn't deserved. There is no company more dedicated to serving the needs of the RVing community, yet for reason people feel the need to continually bash away at them for the most minor of perceived offenses.
Maybe Good Sam is just a evil company, with a call center staffed by employees trained to hang up on customers. But I still believe it is much more likely that either we are missing a whole lot of the story, or some simple technical glitch caused the poster to have their call cut off.
There's a measure of truth to your observation. If you go to the well often enough to make a living at it, you're going to have complaints, both frivalous and some grevious hum-dingers. Instead of turning RVnet into an extension of Ripoff.com with one way communications, why not put the conglomerate with the BBB? They offer a modicum of expectation and transparency in the business world with assigned ratings based on performance and service. If it's good enough for GS to be a memeber (with an A+ rating, I might add) it only seems logical. Then, Corporate could focus locally on those under-achieving CW locations faced with grevious issues and we wouldn't be inundated here with frivolous complaints raining from the sky. This management by crisis in a public forum gets a little old and does little for image. Bring each CW's BBB rating up to an A and continue to build the GS image here, on Facebook and Twitter. JMHO... but I'm just a simple camper.
