I have GS Roadside Assistance. I recently (June '14) broke down in Rawlins, WY. I was able to limp off I-80 and park at a nearby truck stop. GS dispatched a mechanic, who arrived within a couple of hours. He determined my Power Steering Pump was defective (it also controls Power Brakes). Of course he could not fix it on-site. Good Sam dispatched a Towing Service, but they could not get out until the next day. The cost was $550 for the tow. GS paid. No problems. I'm very happy with GS.
The mechanic was from Tom Newman Truck & RV Repair in Rawlins. I cannot say enough good things about them. I was allowed to stay in my motor home while parked on their lot and even one night inside their garage. The part had to be ordered and, of course, this was late Friday, so the part couldn't be obtained until Monday.
