Phoenix GS Rally dates changed

I thought there was a thread on here when the first date was scheduled saying there was a race scheduled a few days before the original Rally date and questioning how GS was going to be able to set everything up in less than a week.

Essentially NASCAR preempted them and Good Sam gave in. It is a race track after all and I'm sure NASCAR brings in more $$$$.

I wonder why? That puts the Good Sam Rally ahead of the Escapade being held inTucson. Maybe I'll still make it to both.
