yep, that is why whenever this spare tire issue arises I always say to carry one, even an unmounted spare, will work. My worst case scenario is being in the middle of nowhere and a fella arrives with a 6 year old wrong size tire and wants $600. I thought my $600 figure was just an exaggeration, but I guess not.
