Additionally GOOD SAM does not pay for the removal of exhaust parts. The will pay the travel time for the repairman to come to the site of your breakdown. THE BILL IS YOUR DIME.
I think this deserves more explanation, as to what kinds of things would be covered and what would not.
It sounds like you are saying that NOTHING is really "covered" except the trip to your location and EVERYTHING else is an extra charge.
My assumption is that whatever is necessary (and possible) to get you going again labor wise will be covered......including towing if it's not replairable on the spot.
Apparently that is not true.....as we keep seeing this same sad story over and over again. Will we have to pay extra to actually have a tire changed ? Will we have to pay $10 a gallon for fuel "because we failed to carry any spare" ? Will we have to pay extra to have the fuel "installed" ??
AAA didn't work out for me so I switched to Good Sam. Maybe it's time to reconsider that too. What was the name of that other popular road service company again ??
What my response deserves is for people to READ THE CONTRACT before it is needed.
You are entitled to have your spare that is already on a rim and inflated installed on your vehicle.
AS with AAA and the other companies fuel will be delivered
YOU PAY FOR THE FUEL
