As I understand it, GSRS is responsible for the trip to your site and changing you tire with your inflated spare. If you do not have a spare, you are responsible for a new tire, unmounting the old tire from the rim, and remounting the tire to the same rim. If GS will pay for more, it would be great for all of us who have GSRS. GS is not responsible for the charge to cut off the damaged tail pipe. Regardless, I feel you were way overcharged for the service you received.
Wouldn't and alternative be for GSRS to transport the MH to a shop that could sell us a new tire and fix the exhaust at the shop rate instead of the on-the-road rate?
Also, are the GSRS providers free to charge whatever they want to charge? Seems GSRS could find us a better deal for our loyalty.
