Going to be awfully hard to find an operator who would want to sink in the amount of money it appears the park would need. Reviews indicate it needs the utilities redone, the sites leveled etc. Doubt the city would sell the property, so anyone taking it over is going to have to put in those improvements and not benefit from long term gains in property value. I don't know the area, but it sounds like if the property went up for sale it might have more value to a developer to change the usage than operate as a campground. Rates appear to be very high for what you get, and if the city is losing money at that rate (and they wouldn't be looking to close it if it was generating net income unless there are other issues which is a whole different ballgame), don't see how anyone could make money putting a bunch of money into it, especially if they are just leasing it.
