- I've installed tow packages on 2 F150s in the last couple months. I didn't have to run wires to the front. Ford has them already there just not hooked up. I'm betting Chevy does the same. I can tell you after having done it, I wouldn't consider doing it for under a couple hundred.Try it yourself. Can't be that difficult, right?
