Thanks for the information on the review and changes to what information the parks will have available to them.
I am not sure why no one got back to me with this as I had asked, but this will do.
The parks definitely need to be able to verify a persons status as a GS member But the only information needed should be a full name as it was used on the membership.
But in reality even if you dont have a card you can often get the same discount through AARP, or other ways, in fact sometimes just asking for it will do the trick. So verifying the membership while important is not the end all and be all of getting the same 10% discount.
I also wish that someone at GSE would have a candid and forthright conversation about what is and is not appropriate use of GSE information with the owners of the OSENS RV Park in Livingston MT. This is where this issue stemmed from originally.
