It is about Good Sam gathering information from their members who pay them money to be a member, then Good Sam selling that information to campgrounds who pay money to be a Good Sam park.

They are a for profit corporation that exists to create a money stream for its ownership. They are not an organization that exists to provide services to its members. And it's clearly spelled out in their privacy policy that they can and will sell that information. Failure to understand the policy is the problem.
