I will chime in here.
I have worked hard at not posting or making my PII available except where necessary and that with reputable companies that protect my PII.
This is very, very poor business ethics and procedures for GS to use. I am looking forward to Ms. Watanabe's response. Please make your review of your policy and procedures public here. While your direct correspondence with 4X4Dodger should be protected, the resulting analysis and/or change of policy and procedure is important to us all.
For those that accept a company providing your PII at their will, I am sorry for you. Don't accept this. Acceptance will simply allow more PII freely thrown around.
I have gone on my GS account and permanently altered my address and phone number. It will not be reset to correct info until I see the resolution of this policy and procedures and then only if GS protects my PII.
