This had always been my attitude, but when we bought the 5th wheel my wife insisted on adding the extended warranty. To my surprise, it paid for itself twice in five years.
Don't know about the Good Sam Extended Service Plan ...YET - but I will. Just bought it and it goes into effect November 1st.
