If you receive a service or product and pay using a credit card it is difficult to dispute a charge. If you are charged for a service or product you did not receive then you have a good chance of winning a dispute.
There has to be more to this story. I would never give my credit card to a service provider that was sent out by Good Sam unless it was to pay for a tire or some parts for a repair. In this case, the OP says they did nothing so why did he give them their credit card.
