sometimes it's amazing the rant people create in their minds where there is no other answer than the one they've cooked up and refuse to let it go even after being proven wrong.

Might be nice for the OP to publicly apologize to GS after the accusations leveled at them proved untrue. They did what they said, but in this case THEY were scammed.
