You need to take a bit of responsibility, because the only way they could have charged your credit card was if you gave them the information. You didn't just call the ERS number and "poof" a $600.00 charge magically appeared on your credit card account. And like 99.9% of rant posts on these forums there are two other sides to the story besides your own, the side of the accused and the truth which lies in between the other two. At some point, the ERS provider's responsibility ends. They provide a tow, a jump start or change a tire (if you have a spare) at no charge to you. If you have that operator perform services beyond what is provided by the ERS, that is really between you and them, ERS is not involved in that transaction.x96mnn wrote:
PWS needs to man/woman up and apologize for misleading us all. The response team never lied to him or anyone else and that's what he said. As it has been proven, and the only thing that was proven, the company as that name was removed as stated. That company had multiple names registered, which often a poor company will do which fed back into the main company.
I usually just avoid this type of rant based on the title but when someone is so bold and make accusations as a lie, very sorry I did not follow my own rule.
X96mnn,
You are only going by The Markus Team's response (post) to this outragous goof up on their part. They didn't provide ANY proof of their statement. I, on the other hand, copied and pasted my emails from them to this thread. I'm just not as ready as some to drink the GSRA Kool-Aid at this point.
How was I the one who was deceptive when I posted their emails on here? Did you read the entire thread before you jumped to conclusions?
Anyway, it appears the OP of the other thread is now satisfied with the results they got using the information I provided them. So, some good came out of all of this.
If, and only if, The Marcus Team actually got rid of a company they use to service their customers that pulls scams on people like this, I will take my hat off to them. Considering they stated in an email back in July that they had severed ties with this company and really hadn't, the proof will be in the pudding..
I hope you NEVER get into a situation Like myself and the other poster got into. It wasn't fun, trust me. Several sleepless nights.
Before you judge me and tell me to "Man Up" go through what I did and you will understand.
