why do renewing members get a raw deal?
I don't get it. Why is my membership renewal more expensive than just getting a new membership? Isn't this unfair to existing, loyal customers? Please explain.

Credit cards are the same way. 0% interest for 12/18 months then raised to 14.9%. Most people don't cancel their credit cards.
