Renewal Fees & Auto Renewal

Was at Camping World In Golden, CO. and was informed that my membership which expires in February of 2014 would be going up to $40.00 and that Camping World was doing away with Auto Renewal also. However I could renew then at $25.00 and also receive a free night at a Good Sams campground. So, is this correct? $25.00 I can usually justify in the savings I usually get but $40.00 seems a little steep.

    Thank you for your post! I apologize that you were told $40 was going to be our normal fee. I would like to assure you that our membership price right now is $25 annually with the option to do automatic renewal or to renew for multiple years at a time. This option is really great as it gives you a discount on your dues. You can always give us a call at 800-234-3450 toward the end of your membership term to see what multi-year specials we have going at that time.
