Renewing Motorhome Magazine Subscription
got a renewal notice in the mail today for MotorHome Magazine. we've been subscribers since we began RVing back in 1986. the renewal notice seemed to be a pretty good deal...24-issues for $23.97, about a buck per month.
but...I prefer to live in the digital world as much as possible so, as the renewal notice stated, I surfed on over to www.motorhomemagazine.com. that page placed the cost of a 24-month subscription at $34.97, $11 more. huh? then, in the lower left corner of the page I saw this:
Are you a Good Sam Club member? Save even more! Claim your discount - log onto GoodSamClub.com
figuring that's where i'd find the $23.97 price I clicked the link and logged in. after searching high and low I could not find a link back to MotorHome Magazine.
I've now spent far, far more time trying to renew the subscription online than I would've had I just written the silly check in the first place.

- why is Good Sam making this so darn difficult and complicated?
- why is the 2-yr offer on paper $11 less than the 2-yr offer on the web?
- why is there a link to the GS Club on the MH magazine renewal page offering a discount for subscription renewals when clicking that link doesn't take you to a renewal page?
