Motorhome Magazine Subscription Discount

I have been a subscriber to Motorhome Magazine since 2001. Recently I inquired if there is a subscription discount for Lifetime Members - I was told there was a discounted price; for a regular 3-yr subscription it was $43.97 but for a Lifetime member for the same length of time, it was for $32.97. Trying to get the discounted price was problematic; the corporate office ladies told me I have to contact their Harlan, IA office to start the subscription. But I was told that I could not get the discounted pricing from the IA office and I have to get it from the CA office.

Well, I guess they don't feel my subscription is valuable enough so that's it Mr. Bob Livingston. Your offices don't care about your subscribers.

  • They will not forward magazine,s and I am a snow bird so how do you contact them to give a change of address
  • Hoping to get my first copy of MH magazine soon. It's been about 2-3 months...Should be soon.
  • Same reason I dropped MH. More Ad's than RV information.
    I get mags with my RV club memberships. They are electronic down loads.
    Some of them are not worth the time to down load either.
  • It wasn't this way before Bob. As what I've written, I've been a subscriber since 2001 where the magazine used to be almost an inch thick and full of informative articles for RV'ers. And not a lot of advertisements as compared to what it is now. The magazine now is almost half of what it used to, not a lot of readable and interesting articles. I understand advertisement pages are what's supporting the magazine for its survival - and of course the subscribers. But the way I've been treated, you think they have a lot subscribers that they don't care if anybody would stop getting their magazine. I don't think that makes a good viable business sense.
