Road Recommended by Good Sam and Completely Unpassable

I just looked at Google maps and Yes I would probably have blindly followed my navigation on that road too. Although as a marked and numbered highway I would put the blame for lack of warning signs on the State Transportation Department more than the navigation. Possibly call 911 before damaging my RV.
