I'm not surprised the OP hasn't been back after some of the replies he received here. Check out his thread on another RV forum and you'll see that he received a much different reception and addressed his initial confusion in describing the route.

He also took full responsibility for his mistake, posting in the hopes that others could learn from his errors.
