Road Recommended by Good Sam and Completely Unpassable

I have driven NM 434 before in our car and it is definitely not a road for any medium sized to large RV (or maybe any RV) even without construction.

Google maps does route this way from Plainview TX. I have not checked our Garmin RV760 GPS, but I assume it would not.

In New Mexico, a numbered state route is not a good indication that a road is good for traveling in an RV. There are some good roads, some there are marginal for an RV and even some dirt roads that are numbered state roads.
