I spoke to the same agent the next day and he confirmed the invoice would be refunded to me and he offered me a year extension to my road service, but at the platinum level which covers towing for 100 mikes and other extras.
Last week we received the new cards for the extended road service and today we received the cheque for the full amount of the towing. We are very satisfied with the results.
The agent seemed truly upset with how we had been treated by their operator, and we are very happy with GSRS now.
This is really good to know and the right thing for the company to have done. It does go a ways to alleviating some of the misgivings about the RS. Thanks for updating the story. It is the one common missing link in so many of these posts.
