No problem changing to another Co. unless one of the underwriting questions ask by the new Co. is, have you ever been declined, cancelled, or non-renewed by any Co. If so, they may not take you. When I wrote P&C Ins. for many years, many people would come to us after they had been cancelled by another Co. We would refuse to Insure them also.
