Roadside Assistance experience, Iowa - May 7, 2017

Question

I had a blowout while cruising northbound on highway 27 in SE Iowa this past Sunday morning.

First time I have used my GS Roadside Assistance. I talked to Ashley and she was wonderful. The repair guys/truck showed up in less time than they had predicted. They were very nice, very professional, and fast - they knew what they were doing! I was back on the road rather quickly (maybe 3 hours??, I didn't time it).

A VERY positive and stress free experience. I'll treat you to dinner sometime Ashley!

JFNM.....good to hear.  I am curious:  Did you carry a mounted spare...or an un-mounted spare...or did they bring you a new tire ?

They brought two new tires, mounted them both roadside, and installed.  It was the outer dual that failed but I also replaced the inner dual as it appeared to have taken a good lick or two from the failed tread as it was departing.
