Roadside Assistance Platnum +

Last year I had a renewal issue. It was , as a courtesy to me, renewed but upgraded to Platnum + for 2 years. They sent my Platnum + cards with an expiration date of 4-26-17. I was impressed! Now,starting a month or so ago, on a visit to Campers World, I was advised that my membership was expiring on 4-26-16. Then I got several notices in the mail to renew immediately. Yesterday I called the number on the card. I was told that it was expiring on 4-26-16, they paid no attention to my narrative. I asked to speak to a supervisor who concluded the same thing. I was told, no it was not issued for 2 years. The original Platinum + card issued, which I have, shows an expiration date of 4-26-17. This now sounds like a SCAM! It is sad that you choose to treat your long term, lifetime members in this manner.

    This looks for all the world like a simple keystroke mistake on entering his membership into the computer.

    Does any one really think this rises to the level of "not wanting his business"? I dont

    Once corrected it should be fixed.

    And it doesnt seem like "fighting" to me when someone brings a perfectly legitimate concern to this forum which GSE states clearly is ONE of THE PLACES to get them resolved.

    So I msut confess I am baffled by the tone of your response. Let's give GSE a chance to put it right.

  • I would think this is a very rare issue but it does bring up an interesting question;

    What takes precedence? The date on your card (I believe this should be the operative document, not a computer entry)

    or

    the computer entry?

    Maybe someone from GS will address this.

    I do think they will make it right for you and correct it and please let us know what happens.

    If I am in a store (CW) and my card says '17 they should honor it through the last day of 2017 until midnuight.
