I confirmed over weekend not to waste money renewing this plan. Had a 22.5 tire explode while putting air in it on Sunday. Luckily it was inside rear tire and no one got hurt. called Good Sam and after spending 15-20 minutes being bounced around 5 different people at good sam, I got Sarah A. who I repeated load range of tire, etc. at least 5 times. she told me she had to call me back with update of when they could help me. being 700 miles from home, I then asked Siri for the closest commercial tire dealers, which 3 were within 2 miles of me. was able to find one of these 3 that had my tire and I drove there and had it replaced. about an hour and half after my first call to Sarah and Good Sam, Sarah called me back and left me voicemail that she was still trying to find someone in the "good sam" network to help me. Second call back from Sarah was 3 hours after initial call and still she was having trouble locating a Good Sam "network" tire replacement person.By this time I was driving home and I guess Sarah is still looking for someone to replace my tire. If she would have only had a phone or google capabilities to notice that 3 tire repair centers were within 1 mile of me the entire time. Exit 106 off I95 in NC.5 thumbs down to this service Good Sam offers, don't waste $80 or even $100 to buy this worthless service.

I don't get why people don't have RA with their own insurance carrier.

the problem was as sarah said there were no contracted dealers in that area, so your the one that gets stuck , your right find your own way out of your problem, faster less stress and your on your way. wonder if sarah is still looking???

I'm no Marcus or GS fan. However, them working on it is a good thing. I had GSERS for years. Long before Marcus took over. Marcus inherited many of these problems. I just changed over to Coach Net.

We had a hole torn in an outer rear tire in El Paso a few weeks ago. Coach Net found the Camping World near us. We carefully drove there. Camping World would have had to order the rim, which might take two days. They handed us over to a truck tire place and we were back on the road just a few hours after our initial call.Several years ago, Coach Net found us a "hidden" hydraulic-diesel shop we were able to drive to without overheating (failed hydraulic pump).I like their emphasis on finding logical solutions to the problem, not just shuffling phone calls.Matt B

I'm stranded up town blocking a driveway to a business. It is 12:30 PM I can't crank or move the motor home. Good Sam Roadside Assistance tells me I have to wait until tomorrow for a tow truck.
I have had Good Sam Roadside Assistance for years. This is the first time I have been treated like this.
I am leaving them and have accepted AAA roadside assistance at a saving of $63.00 over Good Sam Roadside Assistance.
Also, I have insured the motor home and 3 other vehicles with State Farm this week and I am saving $800.00 over Good Sam Insurance.
Oh well, that's just how it goes sometimes and if you think I am too negative, I really don't care.

I am so sorry we bought this service. We were told by GSRA they couldn't get anyone to us for 13 hours. Yes, that's THIRTEEN hours. We're sitting here along I-24 since 7:45 PM unable to sleep due to the noise and rocking of our RV. We're prime targets for any passing criminal. It appears you can only break down and get service between 9 AM and 5 PM, otherwise you are out of luck.

I for one totally love our Good Sam Roadside assistance. I have used it twice since we got our new RV in September. Both times they were there within the hour. Good job Good Sam and thanks for making this program avaliable to your members.

Your not alone with the lousy service from Good Sam roadside assistance. I had a nail in my tire of my fifth wheel and phoned in a service call, 6 hours later I had someone show up after I was told the original service provider cancelled and they were trying to find someone to come out. I not GOOD SAM made many phone inquiries back to them to get an update on when I would have someone out for a tire repair. This is not rocket science just a tire repair. I had to cancel hotel reservations that were made on my trip down south and stop at a tire dealer the next day. Service from GOOD SAM sucks and is incompetent. I would not recommend this company to anyone if they want to feel comfortable with roadside assistance. I was told my complaint was being addressed however this seems to be nothing more than lip service.

Good Sam road side assistance is useless and a total waste of money, cannot wait to go back to CAA/AAA.

X2 same here crossed over to CN,just to many horror stories on here. & these are the 1 that know abt this site . how many we never hear from?
