roadside assistance

Switched to Good Sam just recently. Tried to use my Coach Net back in May and they said my subscription had expired. Well I was sure it was good through July, but dealt with getting the tire changed with the help of a couple of other travelers. Once I got home and was able to go through my records I found that it actually was supposed to be good until July. Needless to say I was not a happy camper and decided on switching to GS.

Coach Net has their share of complaints, just no place for a public forum or we would hear about their complaint sessions. It appears their subscription rates may be lower than GSRA. Might look into it soon as my subscript is over .

after reading hundreds of orror reports on here about GS ,I chose coach net ,used it twice,fast easy problem fixed.

Go to this page, select "last 12 months", and read the good and the bad.

I've never had any problem with CoachNet. Used them several times.

Problem is Coachnet is an unknown as there is nowhere to complain when they give crappy service. I prefer my problems out in the open.
When Coachnet gives a forum to complain in then a comparison on dropping the ball can be made. As long as Coachnet problems remain hidden no comparison can realistically be made

Triple A does not specialize in RV. The certainly seem to have the best nationwide network for auto service, but it clearly states in their contract that many regions do not have RV and you will be on your own and hope for "reasonable" reimbursement. Both Good Sam and CoachNet use contract stations for service. A good station gives good service, and a no so good station...you get the idea. Most threads are complaints of poor service, poor response time, or people seeking services outside the scope of emergency roadside assistance. I had CoachNet first, had a poor experience, and now have Good Sam. Good luck on your choice, and I hope you never have to give the service a try. Happy Trails.
