roadside assistance
on march 7th, we could not get our slideouts to come in. So I called roadside assistance. they sent me a person who works mainly on cars and trucks. He spent over 3 hours testing and finally he decided I needed some new parts. He would order them and expected them to be in the next thursday. I called him on that day and he said he had them and would be there on Friday afternoon to complete the work. He never showed on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. I called him each day except Sunday. he kept telling me he would be there on those other days. On Monday we went to the police to complain. They told us he would be there that morning, but he called me and said he would return the parts and would not be finishing the work. I called Good Sam again and they sent me another truck repair person and he showed up but when he heard that someone else had started the work, he left. Again i called good sam and they said another company would be there that afternoon. they called me and finally decided it was electrical work and would not be there until the next day. the next day they did not come so i called them and they would not be coming as they had an emergency. i call good sam again and they finally sent someone and he was able to finish the work. I paid him and was reimbursed by Fleetwood but they would not reimburse me for the person who started the work. I sent all this information to goood sam and they refused to pay for the work started by the first person. it was very frustrating this whole process. i expected good sam to send someone who would be able to do the work. my wife said you should not pay the first bill as we did not know who dependable this first person was. i said good sam would not send me someone who could or would not do the work. i guess i was wrong.
