I've been a Lifetime Member for over twenty five years and this is what I fear most. Like other members, we carry insurance for peace of mind. I'm also an ocassional world traveler and I carry travel insurance whether I'm booked in the next month or not.
Over those years, I have not used any services that would need urgent attention (thanks God). My wife and I are fortunate enough not to call Good Sam when traveling in RV.
What is discomforting to hear is when you require to provide you all personal information in cases like this.
Is the information you have on file not sufficient to handle the situation?
We live in a world of instant communication and there is no excuse for mishandling the claim.
It seems to me that your further step to require added info is a result of lack of communication between departments.
You should be aware of what's going on company-wide and not rely on micro management that is evident.
When I need some assistance, I don't want any more stress than what I already have.
