My apologies in advance for this post not "fitting".
I've posted many time before in the forum issues section, with zero effective replies.
We need new forum software. This stuff is ancient. It is behind the times. It's custom written and virtually impossible to change. It lacks modern features. It's difficult to use.
These days, everything is about pictures. ALL internet forums (using software that was written this century) directly host pictures and allow direct uploads.
Further, most if not all, have apps for iphone and android. Most use tapatalk or forumrunner. These are easy to implement, and allow great and easy use of pictures. I can simply point my phone at something and click, the picture is there just like facebook.
My and many other users attempts to generate some discussion or movement on this have been totally brushed off by "those in charge,"
These holes in the software are the one and only reason forums such as irv2 are doing so well.
