Scam or legit Roadside Assistance

Not sure if this is legit or a scam? I get an email that looks like it is from Good Sams Roadside Assistance saying to contact them as soon as possible to update my credit card details as my account is due to lapse. Gives me a 866 number to call.

I think to myself, my agreement does not expire until December of 2016, and all my business has been handled and paid for online??

So I call the number. Immediately they want to know my name, what type of coach I have, my phone number, I just hung up. All that information is already at their reach.

Anyone else get this, and maybe someone from Good Sam's can answer this if legit or not and why my credit card is needed?

    No information on this, not even that it is suspected scam, on Whitepages.com
