Called over a month ago to canx the Roadside Assistance and went back to AAA long story short contacted them on this as have seen no refund and I was paid thru this may gee guess what I was not canx...

Generally, when you purchase a service for a one year term, there will be a cancellation fee charged for an early termination. There is likely not a refund due since 9 months have already lapsed and the OP had coverage. No different then a RV park with daily and monthly rates. You can't sign up for the monthly rate, stay 10 days and then get refunded based on the monthly rate divided by 30. You would be charged the daily rate and likely charged an additional cancellation fee since you took the site out of inventory for those remaining 20 days. That often means no refund.
