Maybe it's a good time to help him not have another problem with one of the other wheels bearings. He didn't have a flat tire, the whole dang assembly exited the rig. It seems like preventing another call to GS might go far in the this discussion. Even if he had come on here with a rave about how fast they were to tow him away it would still be a good time to offer what we can about his situation so as to prevent more problems and not have wheel assemblies flying off around the rest of us at 60 mph.
He's only made one post so maybe he wouldn't even be back to ask about bearings or why the whole thing came off. He already thinks he is servicing the bearings properly but these bearings are NOT loaded to 20 ft pounds. If you dont want to try to be helpful to other RVers you dont have to but others with more experience may choose to. Maybe to some people it's only about ragging on GS.
