Yes I have used Good Sam Assistance twice with Great results once and one with not so great results...I am a Life Time Member of Good Sam (been a Member for 9yrs). I got my re-renewal for GSRA (3 months early) and they want me to Pay $112.95 for a year and then 2 days later I get a OFFER to buy GSRA for $59.95 if your signing up for the first time..What's wrong with this picture? You have a loyal Member that has been with you for 9yrs (and on fixed income) and they have to pay almost twice as much???I understand that Good Sam is trying to attract new Members but why are they treating their loyal Members like 2nd class citizens...

So, can't you just cancel and become a new member again? If not, do love me a lot of us and use our auto insurance's roadside insurance.

Same thing happens with DishTV and DirectTV too. They offer a reduced price with a dynamite package for the first year or two. Then after that introductory offer ends, "thar goes the bill!" Up to the roof! Someone suggested to us go with DishTV for the initial 2 years, then cancel. Then go with DirectTV for 2 years, then cancel. Then go back to DishTV as a new account and keep bouncing back and forth every 2 years. ... (um ... we finally canceled both and don't do any now).It does not seem right to offer a dynamite offer to NEW customers and existing customers get screwed over. But it happens in every business.
