So much for their assistance!
Got to love this one! I stopped at a local trailer seller's business today and accidentally locked my keys in my car. Including my spare as that was in my purse in the car. I have never in my LIFE done this before. So, of course my cell had no service since it was pouring out and super cloudy so I had to use the business owner's phone. I call Roadside assistance, and the woman on the other end could barely be heard by me. I kept telling her that too, but she still didn't try to speak up for my benefit. She took 12 minutes to take down my information and to repeat asking where my car keys were and could I see them for sure. Then, while still on this businesses phone, she puts me on a "brief" hold to contact a lockout service to come and help. I waited on hold listening to piped music for about 25 more minutes and finally hung up and called the local wrecker service about coming to help and they said they'd be there in 45 minutes. Good Sam person FINALLY called back to "ask if I still needed the lock out service" and I said NO, I had finally called a local company to assist as I needed to quit blocking this businesses driveway from their customers. I also said that I was probably dropping my Good Sam membership too because this call today ended up being absurd and useless waste of my time. She said okay and thanks for being a Good Sam customer and have a nice day and she hung up! Unbelievable!!! Now I get to "hassle" with them about a reimbursement hopefully. Of note, I have still not received a follow up email from them regarding the service I received today or I would have blasted them with a mouthful! Lovely!!!
