This was also our first rally. We arrived at the lot in torrential rains, the volunteers directed us to the brown lot very quickly and instructed us to follow the guide ahead of us to park and "don't stop!!" So not to get stucked in the mud. The wired were mostly under water but we were all able to hook up and all was good. Our blocks were under water. The site dried up on Saturday. We are thankful for the volunteers and everyone was cheerful. The shuttle bus driver commented how happy and cheerful campers were and he didn't hear any RV'er complaing in spite of the weather.
Rarely do people take the time to be thankful but when there is the smallest (or large) problem, people are quick to react and make a big stink.
We had a great fime and are thrilled that Good Sam held a rally in NY. We are not yet retired and cannot take time to drive to Georgia or south for rallies so THANK YOU Good Sam for a great Rally and don't let the rain keep you away from this neck of the wood. Hope to attend another Good Sam Rally again soon.
