For all the commenters: A one hour wait wasn't the problem. We have a data sheet in the truck with all the pertinent data. GS had the information on our truck and trailer; they confirmed and asked what model we had. I explained that it was a 29' Airstream Sovereign; the CRS insisted on the make/model. In TN, the Tennessee DOT roadside assistance program came to our rescue within an hour. In Alabama, on our third call to the roadside assistance, we finally got a CRS who helped us. We did what someone in a similar situation (another topic) did - we kept calling until we got someone helpful. We checked the tires (E-rated steel-belted radials) when we began our vacay and before we started home - there were NO signs of dry rot. And yes, we knew that an the tow company would be a contracted provider. The provider in Alabama was six miles away and said it had been a slow day for them.
