Terrible service from Roadside Assistance

My husband and I were traveling on I-40 just east of Knoxville when the front driver side tire blew on our travel trailer. We pulled over and called Roadside Assistance. The individual taking the call was hard to understand. For whatever reason, she kept asking what model of vehicle we had. I explained several times that we had a TRAVEL TRAILER, not a truck and travel don't normally have make/model numbers. We tried to explain that my husband is disabled (on oxygen) and could they please help expedite. An hour later, we received assistance, not from Good Sam, but from the Tennessee DOT; they have roving trucks which assist travelers and had spotted us with one of their cameras. We cancelled the call and continued on. Five days later we headed home and, as luck would have it, blew the rear passenger side tire on the trailer. As with the first time, the person receiving the call insisted on what make/model of vehicle we had. I repeated several times that we had an Airstream travel trailer. This call was even worse; it took 1 1/2 hours for a response and that "short" amount of time was only because we called three times, desperately seeking help. Fortunately, we always carry two spares, having heard horror stories from others. After changing the second spare, we followed the repair truck to their shop and bought two new spares. I have absolutely no confidence in the Good Sam Roadside "non" Assistance program.
