Insurance on things like cars, and houses make sense, the expense to repair/raplace those would be a hardship, but a tow bill probably would not adversely affect you.
You're probably right, but who do you call for towing assistance when you're on the road. Having a single point of contact is convenient. Since 2014 we've used the tow truck benefit twice.
Just google "towing near me" and it will find someone.
